Green Roofs for Healthy Cities Announces Lily Turner as New Board Member and Green Walls Committee Chair

Green Roofs for Healthy Cities (GRHC) is proud to announce its latest board member and Green Walls Committee Chair, Lily Turner.

Turner is a renowned director of green walls at Urbanstrong, an award-winning green building firm, biophilic designer, and living wall specialist. She is experienced in working with architects, designers, and contractors to provide technology that aligns with their budget, design parameters, and scale.

Turner's unique perspective on design, planning, and development recognizes the social, environmental, and economic value of living architecture. She is committed to making urban areas more resilient to climate change through her work. “Humankind is inextricably linked to the natural world. It is imperative that we build and expand our cities in a manner that is harmonious with nature” she added.

As Chair of the Green Walls Committee, Turner will work alongside a team of experts in green walls and living architecture to develop resources and advocate for supportive green wall policy to enhance adoption of these technologies and recognition of their benefits to the broader human ecosystem.
