CitiesAlive 2026 Announces Designing Green Walls Master Class

Green Roofs for Healthy Cities (GRHC) announces Designing Green Walls, a masterclass at CitiesAlive 2026 led by Lily Turner, WELL AP, Founder of Lily Scott Designs.

This 90-minute masterclass covers the design and implementation of living plant walls and preserved moss systems, with a focus on technical considerations required for long-term performance.

Participants will explore structural systems and mounting methods, substrate selection, plant selection for different environmental conditions, irrigation and drainage design, and maintenance requirements. The session is designed to provide practical guidance for professionals involved in specifying or installing green wall systems.

Turner has worked across the United States as a biophilic designer, environmentalist, project manager, and living wall specialist. Her work focuses on integrating living systems into buildings in ways that support environmental performance and enhance user experience.

Other master classes at CitiesAlive 2026 include Designing Green Roofs for Biodiversity, Integrated Solar Green Roofs Workshop, Applying Biophilic Design, Designing Irrigation Systems, and Designing Blue-Green and Green Roofs for Maximum Stormwater.
