Experts will touch on the advantages, design structure, challenges, and local policies in place to help integrate new green and stormwater architecture. Our expert panel will investigate whether we have to choose between green or solar roofs while elaborating on future possibilities for New York City’s green environment.

  • Lily Turner, the Director of Sales and Operations at UrbanStrong, will discuss the technicalities of integrating nature within the city’s immense concrete jungle. 

  • Dustin Patridge, the founding member and managing director of the Green Roof Researchers Alliance will discuss the various methodologies in constructing green roofs for the city’s avian population, birds

  • Andy DiMarino, President of ADM Landscape Corporation, will elaborate on the municipal city laws that may constraints or accelerate New York City’s green and stormwater infrastructure implementation 

  • Jorg Breuning,  Director of Green Roof Design CEO, will share the processes of integrating green roof systems in addition to solar panel installations 

  • Anna Droz, GRP, will provide insight on ways to enhance the water management systems to promote plant growth with Blue-Green roofs 

  • David Yocca, Senior Landscape Architect and Board Director of The green Infrastructure Foundation  who will elaborate  on the applications of the Living Architecture Performance tool to keep track of NYC’s progress in implementing green technology 

  • Melissa Enoch, Program Director of Rooftop Farm on Staten Island  will speak on numerous stormwater incentives across the city
