Houston Grey to Green 2025 Conference Showcases Innovative Green Infrastructure Solutions

Green Roofs for Healthy Cities is co-hosting the Houston Grey to Green Conference on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at SkyFarm at POST Houston. This full-day event will bring together architects, landscape architects, policymakers, and green infrastructure professionals to share knowledge and explore strategies for building healthier cities. Through presentations, case studies, and discussions, attendees will learn about practical approaches to managing urban challenges while creating greener spaces for communities. Houston faces ongoing challenges from extreme heat, flooding, and hurricanes. Green infrastructure, such as green roofs, bioswales, permeable pavements, and more, play an increasingly important role in reducing risks, improving air and water quality, and supporting public health. This conference will highlight how these approaches are being put into practice in Houston and other cities across North America.
