Announcing The Chicago Grey to Green Green Infrastructure Conference and Green Roof Installation and Maintenance Professional Training June 11-12, 2026
Green Roofs for Healthy Cities (GRHC) is pleased to announce that it is hosting a regional Grey to Green Conference in Chicago, Illinois, taking place June 12, 2026, at the Omni Ecosystems Head Quarters. This event will bring together architects, landscape architects, developers, researchers, policymakers, and green infrastructure professionals. It includes one day of hands-on Green Roof Installation and Maintenance Professional training (June 11th) , followed by expert presentations, and industry networking on June 12. One day prior to the conference, on June 11th, there will be a Green Roof Installation & Maintenance Professional (GRIMP) Training session, a full-day intensive program designed for professionals seeking practical expertise in green roof systems. Participants will receive four hours of classroom instruction, four hours of hands-on installation demonstrations featuring multiple green roof systems, lunch, a downloadable digital resource manual, one GRIMP exam attempt, and one year of complimentary Green Roofs for Healthy Cities individual membership for only $495.00. Space is limited so book early.
Hosted on June 12, the Chicago Grey to Green Conference will feature a full day of presentations and discussions focused on the latest innovations in green infrastructure design, climate resilience, biodiversity, and urban sustainability. Attendees can earn up to seven continuing education credits while engaging with leading voices in the industry. Enjoy learning from our exhibitors.
