Green Roofs for Healthy Cities (GRHC) announces the formation of the CitiesAlive 2026 Advisory Committee, a group of industry leaders and experts who will help guide the planning and development of the upcoming CitiesAlive Conference, taking place September 30 to October 2, 2026 in Brooklyn, New York. See more information on CitiesAlive here.

CitiesAlive is a North American conference dedicated to green roofs, green walls, and living architecture. As the event celebrates its 20th annual gathering, the newly established advisory committee will play a key role in shaping the conference program and strengthening engagement across the green infrastructure community.

The CitiesAlive Advisory Committee provides strategic direction and hands-on support throughout the planning process. Members work collaboratively to help develop a dynamic and relevant conference agenda, identify and secure industry partners, support sponsorship and fundraising efforts, and expand the conference’s reach through strategic outreach and marketing. Their collective expertise and professional networks help ensure that CitiesAlive continues to deliver high-quality programming and meaningful connections across the industry.

The CitiesAlive 2026 Advisory Committee is led by three co-chairs: Chris Brunner, Partner at New York Green Roofs; Christian Mahlstedt, Founder and President of Ginkgo Sustainability; and Steven Peck, Founder and President of Green Roofs for Healthy Cities.
