Sara Hagos | Green Roof Professional (GRP)
Sara Hagos is an architectural representative at IKO Industries Ltd., holding a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from Haromaya University and a MASc. with distinction from Building Science Graduate Program at British Columbia Institutes of Technology (BCIT). Her MASc. project studied various extensive green roof systems and the findings were published in the Building and Environment Journal and the 2022 Buildings XV International Conference organized by ASHRAE and Oak Ridge National Laboratory.

Michael is Principal of Higher Groundwork HortiCulture designing and implementing green roofs within Treaty 6 Territory of the Northern Great Plains. He completed his first project in 2015, a non-irrigated residential roof which is still growing well.
Alyssa Skilton | Green Roof Professional
Alyssa Skilton is a certified GRP graduating with a Msc. Architecture and Environmental Design at Kent State University in May 2022. She knew she wanted to pursue a field that actively contributed to conservation and habitat restoration!

Lauren Henfey is a renowned Designer and founder of her firm, Famous Meadow. In 2014 she became a Green Roof Professional with GRHC. Anna Droz | Green Roof Professional (GRP)
Anna Droz is a certified green roof professional (GRP) finishing up her PhD in ecology at Kent State University. She conducted research in the Midwest USA on the plants, substrate, and fungi in the green roof environment, as well as how we can manipulate these factors to optimize green roof health and functioning. She has consulted on several green roof projects and firmly believes in the importance of including biophilic design in the urban landscape for all to enjoy.
Jennifer Bousselot, GRP, Ph.D.
Jennifer Bousselot is an assistant professor at Colorado State University in the Department of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture.
