European Green Infrastructure Day

Sourced from the World Green Infrastructure Network

Through a series of thematic panels, industry leaders, renown experts, European political  representatives and EU institutions officials will discuss how to tap into the multiple benefits of urban green infrastructure, focusing on their contribution to green economic recovery and the EU climate  goals. 

The event, organised by the EU Chapter of the World Green Infrastructure Network (WGIN), will take  place online on Thursday 27 May 2021, from 09:00 to 18:15 CEST. 

The event will feature: 

  • More than 30 speakers from different backgrounds 

  • 6 thematic panels linked to green infrastructure (biodiversity, efficient buildings, financing, GI practices across Europe, climate adaptation, sustainable urban planning) 

  • Interactive sessions with the possibility to ask questions
