The Living Architecture Monitor
The Living Architecture Monitor (LAM) magazine is a quarterly publication written by green roof and wall industry professionals, scholars and passionate advocates throughout North America. The magazine supports Green Roofs for Healthy Cities’ mission to increase awareness of the economic, social and environmental benefits of green roofs, walls, and other forms of living architecture through education, advocacy, professional development and celebration of excellence. Living architecture is the integration of living, organic systems with non-living, inorganic systems in, on, or around buildings. Living architecture is an important step to reconcile people and nature in the modern built environment.
First published in 1998, this magazine features in-depth interviews with leaders in the green building movement, opinions, research, and green roof and wall project profiles.
