Green Roofs for Healthy Cities Announces New Board Members

Green Roofs for Healthy Cities (GRHC) is pleased to announce the addition of Daniel Martin, Permaloc Corporation, and Edmund Snodgrass, Emory Knoll Farms/Green Roofs Plants to the Board of Directors.

Green Roofs for Healthy Cities' mission is to develop and protect the market by increasing the awareness of the economic, social, and environmental benefits of green roofs, green walls, and other forms of living architecture through education, advocacy, professional development, and celebrations of excellence. The new Board members bring a wealth of experience in the green roof and sustainability industries, and will assist in developing GRHC's programs and initiatives in the coming years.

Daniel Martin is the current Director of Marketing for Permaloc Corporation, a leading manufacturer of high-performance landscape edging and restraint systems. Daniel received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Southeastern University, and is an LEED AP (BD+C).

Edmund Snodgrass is president and founder of Emory Knoll Farms, Inc. and Green Roof Plants, North America’s first nursery specializing in green roof plants and horticultural consulting. Edmund has consulted on projects all across the world, collaborates on research with a number of educational institutions, and has authored several books on green roofs and green roof plants.

Green Roofs for Healthy Cities would also like to thank its outgoing Board Members Joe DiNorscia, Skyland-Rooflite; and John Robinson, Sika Sarnafil for their dedication to the organization and continued contributions to the industry.
