On Oct. 18, Ward Village welcomed residents into Kaka’ako’s newest luxury condominium tower, Anaha with 317 units, most with incredible views of urban Honolulu, Waikīkī, and the ocean and mountains.
At the corner of Auahi and Kamakee streets, Anaha has some unique features, which include the glass-bottom infinity pool that appears to hang over the street facing Ward Village shops. There’s also a sand volleyball court and a putting green, in addition to the fitness center, dog run, movie theater and barbeque areas.
The building has proven so popular that some of the original owners are already reselling the brand-new units.
The new tower also includes the largest living wall in Hawai‘i with more than 8,000 tropical plants (mix of ferns, bromeliads, lawai, and syngonium) set in an area 113 ft. wide by 15 ft. high. The live artwork was locally designed by Greg and Terri Lee of 1st Look Exteriors and took nearly a year to create.
Still to come, Anaha residents will be able to dine at O‘ahu’s first Merriman’s restaurant without leaving their building. Construction is underway on the ground-floor restaurant, known for its signature Hawai‘i regional cuisine at the Big Island flagship restaurant and on Maui and Kaua‘i.
